Recognised in 2026 by Doyle’s Guide as a Corporate & Commercial Rising Star, Elliot is a Senior Associate in CCK’s Transactions team.  His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private investment and corporate structuring, including business acquisitions and disposals, equity investments, restructures and joint ventures.

Elliot advises business owners and founders, private companies, corporate groups, investment funds and high-net-worth family groups.  He acts on Australian and cross-border transactions, helping clients acquire and sell businesses, raise capital, reorganise ownership and implement succession arrangements.

His work brings together the commercial, tax and ownership considerations that shape these transactions.  He advises on transaction structures, shareholder arrangements and management equity, together with the governance and key commercial agreements supporting clients’ businesses and investments.

  • Acting for A-LIGN on its acquisition of AssurePoint, marking the US cybersecurity compliance company’s entry into the Australian market.

  • Acting for the purchaser of an Australian packaging distribution business, including the pre-completion restructure and acquisition financing arrangements.

  • Acting for the shareholders of CAMMS on their US$100 million exit to a US private equity fund.

  • Acting for Ellerston JAADE Australian Private Assets Fund on its participation in Sleek’s US$25 million Series B funding round.

  • Acting for Ellerston JAADE Australian Private Assets Fund on a significant investment in an Australian-based multinational software platform business.

  • Acting for the purchaser of a $16 million mining services business.

  • Acting for the purchaser of a large abattoir in regional Victoria.
